Our hospital was embarking on a $10-million-dollar construction replacement project and the time was right to re-identify ourselves to the community that we serve. Rhonda, a Fine Arts and Graphic Design graduate of Iowa State, had the technical training and specialized work experience that was required for “shepherding” us through this process. Rhonda first met with two key individuals from the hospital to learn about the hospital’s logo and ideas for a new logo and corporate identity. There were actually a series of meetings and logo renditions which ultimately produced the selected logo. The hospital’s board approved the new logo design and the hospital is in the process of branding the new corporate identity to the service area.
In addition to her sound technical background Rhonda was a pleasure to work with during the designing process. She was attentive, punctual, hard working and assertive when she needed to be and never pushy. She was helpful in bringing fresh ideas to the table but the hospital never felt like Rhonda was dictating that the hospital really needed to do this, or go with that. Her role was strictly that of a professional designer in that she really listened to the needs of her client. Rhonda used the client’s direction as a base and then she complimented that base utilizing the skills and experience that she possessed to fine tune the work that became the hospital’s logo and corporate identity. Rhonda is a first rate graphic designer and I fully recommend her services to your organization.
